SAI win two gold at State Archery Championships

Imphal, October 16 2024: SAI won two gold medals on the fifth day of the 35th Sub-Junior, 36th Junior & 34th (Men & Women) State Archery Championships at RCC Ground, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

SAI clinched both men's and women's team events in the day's competition.

L Rabina Devi, Y Nupama Devi, Villennia Thokchom and S Henthoi Devi combined to secure the gold medal in the women's team recurve event for SAI.

The BAA women's team finished second, followed by NSA in third.

SAI also triumphed in the men's team recurve event, with K Rohit Meitei, Md Amir Arshad Khan, L Yuhenba Meitei, and E Orbit Singh clinching the gold medal.

BAA took silver medal and AAA earned bronze in the men's contest.

Meanwhile, SAIRC's L Rabina Devi clinched the gold medal in the women's individual Olympic round recurve event, while BAA's Paikhomba Chongtham claimed the men's gold medal.
