FORCE outclass PTRC by 8 wickets in MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy

Imphal, March 29 2025: FORCE notched up a commanding 8-wicket victory against PTRC in the 1st MNCA Women's U-23 One Day Trophy 2024-25 at SEDOC Ground on Saturday.

FORCE chase down a target of 151 with ease, thanks to a stellar batting display led by Neha and Barkatun Khanam.

PTRC, electing to bat after winning the toss, were restricted to 150 all out in 29.3 overs.

Captain Kiranbala Pa-lujam anchored the innings with a gritty half-century (54 off 59 balls), supported by Linthoingambi Chanu Laishram (25 off 26), but regular wickets fell due to disciplined bowling from FORCE (W).

Farjiya (2/9), Barkatun Khanam (2/17), and Wakila Shani (2/17) were the standout performers, sharing six wickets between them.

In reply, FORCE comfortably reached 152/2 in just 20.4 overs.

Opener Neha remained unbeaten on 56 off 43 balls (SR 130.23), striking nine boundaries, while Barkatun Khanam provided early momentum with a brisk 38 off 43.Kh Rukshad (10*) supported Neha to seal the victory comfortably.

For PTRC, Laitonjam Benita Devi (1/27) and Kiranbala Palujam (1/22) were the only wicket-takers.
