MABA to conduct boxing trials

Imphal, May 22 2025: The Manipur Amateur Boxing Association will hold selection trials for Under-17 boys and girls on May 26, 2025 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena for the upcoming 1st Goa Invitation Boxing Cup, to be held from June 4-7, 2025 in Mapusa, North Goa.

Eligible boxers must be born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010 .

Weight categories for the trials include 44-46 kg, 46-48 kg, 48-50 kg, 50-52 kg, 52-54 kg, 54-57 kg, and 57-60 kg .

Document verification will take place on May 25 from 9 am onwards.

Trial weight checks begin at 6 am, with official weigh-ins from 7 to 8 am.

Participants must bring their "original birth certificate with clear QR Code, original Aadhaar card with Aadhaar history, and original age estimation" .
