Army organises Inter-school boys volleyball tournament

Imphal, July 30 2024: Indian Army organised an inter-school boys volleyball tournament at Island village of Imphal East district.

Held over two days, from July 28 to July 29, 2024, the tournament drew school students from Moirangpurel, Bethel, and Leikocheng.

The final match took place on July 29, 2024, between Moirangpurel High School and Bethel High School, with Moirangpurel High School ultimately emerging as the champions.

The tournament highlighted the Army's efforts to connect with the youth of Manipur and underscored the importance of physical fitness and mental well-being for young people.

The local authorities thanked the Army for the tournament to en courage youth to pursue their goals, said a press release from the Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.
