Imphal, March 29 2025: Assam Rifles Women's Polo Team comfortably advanced to the final of the 3rd Chittamohini State Women's Cup 2025 with a commanding 8-2 win over Ibudhou Pakhangba Polo Club in Saturday's semifinal clash at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The Assam Rifles side dominated from the outset, establishing an early 3-0 lead in the first chukker.

Victoria Oinam struck twice, while Mangangcha Mutum Enourembi added another to put her team firmly in control.

The second chukker saw Veronica Oinam extend Assam Rifles' advantage with a well-taken goal, though Ibudhou PC managed to pull one back through Ranjita Devi.

After the break, H Ritu Devi netted a brace in the third chukker, further widening the gap, while Ranjita Devi struck again for Ibudhou - her second of the match.

In the final chukker, Veronica Oinam and Enourembi each scored their second goals of the game, sealing an emphatic victory for Assam Rifles.

They now progress to the final, where they will face Riding Club (Lamphel) on March 31, 2025 .
