Model, YOSC, ESU victorious in State basketball competition

Imphal, October 22 2024: Model Club, YOSC and ESU emerged the victors in Tuesday's fixtures of the 28th State Youth Basketball Championship 2024.Model Club comfortably beat YWC 40-11 .

They established a commanding 14-0 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 28-7 by halftime.

Model continued to assert their dominance with a 6-4 advantage in the third quarter and concluded the game decisively with a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter.

ESU cruised past St Xavier 41-20.They surged ahead in the opening period with a 23-9 lead but faced a setback in the second quarter, trailing 3-0 .

However, ESU regained their momentum with a strong 12-3 performance in the third quarter.

Despite being outscored 11-6 in the fourth quarter, ESU's early and third-quarter performances proved sufficient to secure the victory.

YOSC, meanwhile, dominated BDBA 40-20 .

They maintained consistent scoring throughout the match, posting quarters of 9-3, 16-8, 13-4, and 8-5, showcasing their superiority on the court.
