7 players reach Cash Prize Tennis Cship quarters

Imphal, December 21 2024: Seven players secured their places in the men's singles quarterfinals of the 43rd State Open Cash Prize Tennis Championship 2024 on Saturday.

Padmeshwar delivered a commanding performance to defeat Sunny Chirom 6-2, 6-0, while Nonginsana triumphed over Atom Kiran 7-5, 6-1 .

Pahten Keisam showcased resilience, rallying from a set down to overcome Ashini Sinam 5-7, 7-6 (9-7), 12-10 in a gripping encounter.

Brojendra, Lanchenba, Becker, and Premjit advanced directly to the quarterfinals via byes.

In the U-12 category, Yoimayai, Dharaaraj, and Rancher progressed to the boys' semifinals, while Gucci, Rk Valeska, Shelza Aser n, and Gracy Rk booked their spots in the girls' semifinals.
