Army organises friendly volleyball match

Imphal, September 19 2024: Indian Army on Thursday organised a friendly volleyball match at Torbung Bangla in Churachandpur district between a combined team of S Kwatlian and Pengjang villages, and a team from Army unit deployed in the region.

Informing that the local team won the match, PRO Defence said in a release that the friendly was witnessed by an enthusiastic crowd from the villages, cheering for their respective teams, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

Army remains committed to community engagement through the sporting events, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual understanding with local communities, the PRO added.
