MPA-B, WFC secure victories in Ima Panthoibi Trophy

Imphal, January 18 2025: MPA-B and Wangkhem FC emerged the victors in the 2nd Ima Panthoibi Trophy 2025 on Saturday.

MPA-B came from behind to seal a 3-2 victory over MPA-B .

Tejkumar found the opener for MPA in the 21st minute, but EPYC reversed the score courtesy of Rajboy and Sanathoi who converted in the 27th and 31st minutes, respectively.

MPA staged a comeback, scoring in quick succession through Jidin (40) and Suraj (41) to ultimately tilt the scales in their favour.

Wangkhem FC, on the other hand, eased to a 2-0 win over AIFA as Akbar netted in the 47th minute and Mask doubled the lead in the 49th minute for the eventual result.
