LFC, WFC victorious in Ima Panthoibi Trophy

Imphal, January 15 2025: Lamjingba FC and Wangkhem FC notched victories contrasting styles in Wednesday's matches of the 2nd Ima Panthoibi Trophy 2025 at Thounaojam playground, Kakching.

Lamjingba FC swept past Brothers' FC 4-0 with strikes from K Killer Singh (33), Yaiphaba (41), Bidyakanta (43) and Ashok (47) .

Meanwhile, Wangkhem FC defeated Punshiba FC 3-2 in a penalty shootout.

The game went into penalties after a 0-0 deadlock.

In the shootout, Cable Naresh and Olenjit converted their shots to help Wangkhem FC secure the victory.
