Ukhrul, November 06 2008: THE M KAZIPMI Memorial Trophy cum District League, organised by Ukhrul Football Association (UFA) at Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) ground, Ukhrul which set off from October 10 concludes today.

The closing ceremony was graced by president ICHAM, N.Rajendro, Branch Manager, Manipur State Co-operative Bank, Ukhrul, Th.Minaketan, General Secretary, UFA, Yang Maso Hongray and Joint Commissioner, Income Tax, Themreingam Shaiza as chief guest and guest of honours respectively.

In his speech of chief guest, N.Rajendro said that Manipur would have been known as a land of terrorists if we do not excel in the field of sports.

Star United (SU), Hundung and Khourui United Club (KUC) fought for victory in today's final match.

The match ended as a drawn match with score position 1-1.Star United won the match by scoring 4 goals in tie break while KUC could make only 3 goals.
