MEIRA, SEYO script wins in hockey tourney

Imphal, October 28 2024: MEIRA women and men teams registered wins, while SEYO emerged victorious in men's competition of the 1st Master Hockey Tournament 2024 at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium on Monday, In women's pool W match, MEIRA beat YCCIC 2-0 with goals from Th Chanchan and Ksh Sushma.

Similarly, MEIRA defeated THHA 3-1 in men's pool A match with N Dhruba, O Tolen and Th Tompok sounding the rivals' board.

The THHA goal was scored by Sh Benarjit.

On the other hand, in men's pool B match, SEYO thrashed TWC 6-1 with goals from Ksh Thoiba (two), Ksh Shantakumar (two), Ksh Surajkanta (one) and Th Birjit (one).

The TWC face saver was scored by Ak Jit.
