SAIRC, PUC-A win semis on Day 1 of State Level Sepaktakraw Cships

Imphal, April 23 2025: SAIRC and PUC-A triumphed in their respective junior girls' semifinal matches on the opening day of the 24th Mini, 26th Sub-Junior, 26th Junior and 39th Men & Women State Level Sepaktakraw Championships 2025 at IMSUC Ground, Heingang Makha Leikai, on Wednesday.

SAIRC dominated IMSUC with a straight-sets victory (15-9, 17-14), while PUC-A staged a comeback after dropping the first set to defeat YAWA-A (9-15, 15-6, 15-10).In the day's junior boys' fixtures,, SWC-B had a strong start, securing two wins.

They first overpowered IMSUC-B (15-5, 15-11) before edging out HUDIC in a hard-fought three-setter (15-12,5-15,17-15) .

SWC-A also impressed, notching two victories-de-feating IMSUC-A (15-12, 15-9) and YAWA (15-11, 15-11) .

Meanwhile, in the mini category, SWC-A, YAWA-A and HUDIC-A each claimed two wins in the girls' event.

The boys' competition saw HUDIC-B shine with three victories, while YAWA-A recorded two wins.
