Basketball C'ship: LMYVA,CYLC, SAINIK script wins

Imphal, October 21 2024: LMYVA, CYLC and SAINIK registered wins in boys' competition of the 28th Boys & Girls State Youth Basketball Championship 2024 at Nahabam Basketball Court on Monday.

LMYVA established 16-10 lead in the first quarter, and maintained the momentum in remaining quarters with scores of 18-10, 14-12 and 10-9 to defeat Youth Club by 58-41 points.

In the second match, CYLC trounced YOSC 54-37 points, with leads of 6-2 in first quarter, 12-6 in second and 20-13 in the final quarter, though they trailed their opponents at 16-18 in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, SAINIK outplayed YWC 46-19 with comprehensive scores of 14-4, 15-7, 6-6 and 11-2 in the four quarters.
