UAKOM kickboxers win medals at National League

Jiribam, April 18 2025: United Association of Kickboxing Organisation Manipur (UAKOM)'s six-member team bagged medals and a title belt at the Pro National Open Kickboxing India League, held in West Bengal from April 15 to 17, 2025 .

Yumnam Thoisana claimed the title belt in the -57kg senior boys' full contact event, while Y Lasmi Devi earned a silver medal with a trophy in the senior women's full contact contest.

Suraj Laishram secured bronze in the -54kg senior male low-kick event.

In the junior category, Pukhrambam Sailesh Singh took silver medal in the -54kg male low-kick event, while Meihoubam Dhakeshwor Singh bagged silver in the -57kg male full contact.

The UAKOM team was accompanied by coach Chaningkhombi Chanu and referee Khangembam Basanta Singh.
