Ahong scored a treble to lead Chumbang FC in a remarkable comeback, securing a thrilling 3-2 victory over Hnarhringkhu YC in Wednesday's Chandel Super Division Football League 2024 action at Ziontlang Ground.

St Warlongam opened the scoring for Hnarhringkhu in the 19th minute, followed by Ts Warkham's goal in the 35th minute.
Despite conceding twice, Chumbang FC found their hero in Ahong, who sparked their revival with a hat-trick.
Ahong began his scoring spree in the 39th m inute, equalised ten minutes later, and completed his hat-trick in the 58th minute, securing all three points for Chumbang FC.
In the day's 1st Division League matches, Ziontlang YDC, SASA and Khongjon YC emerged victorious.
Ziontlang YDC started the fixtures with a 3-1 victory over Cheengkhu YC, with Renglier scoring twice.
Lungir gave Ziontlang the lead in the 4th minute, Chana equalised for Cheengkhu in the 38th minute, but Renglier restored Ziontlang's lead just before halftime and added another in the 52nd minute to seal their win.
SASA overcame Liwa Khulen 2-1, recovering from an early deficit with goals from Kh Rengminthang and Kh Fourthson in quick succession.
JV Khumringam put Liwa up two minutes into the game.
However, Kh Rengminthang scored from the penalty spot in the 12th minute to tie the game for SASA.
Then Kh Fourthson converted in the 13th-minute as SASA held on to secure the win.
Meanwhile, Khongjon YC relied on Kenphasha's second-half goal to carve out a 1-0 success against Anal Kho-nou YC.
Kenphasha netted the decider in the 50th minute.
