Imphal, January 15 2025: The 1st 5-a-side Open Football Tournament, organised by Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Ningshing Lup (LHINL), got underway at Oriental Club playground, Khongman Mangjil, on Wednesday.

The opening ceremony of the 22-team tournament was attended by RIMS PMR department head Dr L Nilachandra, Oriental Club president G Daballo Sharma and LHINL president Thangjam Subhaschandra as chief guest, guest of honour and president, respectively.

In the opening match, Pre-mika FC beat LHINL-A by a 3-2 margin.
