Coach education programme concludes

Kangpokpi, June 10 2024:
Coach Education Program, Manipur 2024 - a Youth Coach Level 1 Certification Course training programme conducted for 20 aspiring coaches concluded on Monday.
The training programme held from June 2 at Dreamland Turf Ground, Keithelmanbi was organised by Kangpokpi district administration in collaboration with the TENVIC Sports under the aegis of Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Monday's closing ceremony was attended by senior officers of the district administration led by DC Mahesh Chaudhari, who congratulated the trainees and encouraged them to use their newly acquired knowledge to nurture sports at the grassroots level in their respective districts or villages.
He commended head coach Chitra Gangadharan and TENVIC Sports staff Archirt BM for their efforts in training the coaches while noting that Kangpokpi is the first district in the state to successfully complete the Coach Education Program, Manipur 2024 and gave special recognition to TENVIC Sports co-founder Vasant Bharadwaj.
The DC handed out certificates to all the trainees.
