Inter-college Thang-Ta: Pravabati College, Moirang College emerge champions

Imphal, January 07 2023: Pravabati College (Mayang Imphal) and Moirang College (Moirang) were crowned team champions of the RK Sanahal Memorial Manipur University Inter College Thang-Ta Tournament 2022-23 organised by South East Manipur College, Komlathabi under the auspices of Manipur University on Saturday.

In the men's competition, Pravabati College clinched three gold medals and two silver to win the overall championship title.

Century Heisnam, L Lenin Meitei and Y Deepak Singh were the gold medallists for the champions, who also collected two silver medals through Y Umakanta Meitei and Dijen Shagolshem.

Liberal College (Luwangshangbam) were the runners-up of the men's tournament.

They won two gold medals.

Moirang College emerged as the team champions of the women's event for winning two gold and one bronze medals during the competition.

O Geeta Devi and Puinabati Angom claimed the gold medals as L Monika Devi earned the bronze.

Mayai Lambi College (Yumnam Huidrom) finished runners-up with two gold medals.
