Imphal, March 05 2025: National Sports University, Imphal, marked International Women's Day with a '5km Run for Women' on Wednesday, bringing together participants in a celebration of athleticism and empowerment.

In the athletics category for participants below 50 years of age, Tayengjam Russia Chanu clinched the first place title with an impressive performance, while Thounaojam Maria Chanu secured the second position.

Nevia Laishram rounded off the podium, finishing in third place.
