13th Intra Village Sports Meet concludes

Kakching, January 04 2025: The 13th Intra Village Sports Meet 2025, organised by Baptist Youth Society (BYS) Mantak, concluded on Saturday at Mantak village playground.

The three-day sporting event featured competitions in football, volleyball, 100m race, long jump, high jump, and tug-of-war.

In the men's football final on Saturday.

Agape beat Logos in a penalty shootout.

The game went into penalty kicks after a 3-3 deadlock.

Agape prevailed 4-3 against their opponents and clinched the title.

In the men's volley ball.

13th Intra Village Sports Meet concludes

MUSA-A emerged as the winners, while MUSA-B were runners up.

On the other hand.

Women Society claimed the championship title in the women's volleyball event as Salom Group finished second.

In women's lug of war.

Agape were the winners and Logos the runners-up.

The Sports Meet's closing ceremony was attended by Md Fajur Rahim, working president Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) and ex-MLA Wabagai A/C, Mangle Mohonjao Kom, president United Brothers Sporting Association (LBSA) Mantak, Mayengbam Jayantakumar, ex-Zilla Parishad member (Wabagai Keirak ZP Constituency) and Karong Cheiraojao Kom, chief of Mantak village, and Rev Sanglen Serto, pastor Mantak Baptist Church, chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
