Maria Pame clinches boxing gold medal

Imphal, October 01 2024: Zeme Naga Council commended Maria Pame, d/o of Ramsaulak Pame of Impa village, for winning a gold medal at the REC Open Talent Hunt Boxing Programme-02 in Guwahati from September 14 to 30, 2024.In a congratulatory note, the Zeme body said, "Maria's remarkable, achievement is a testament to her unwavering dedication, perseverance, and passion for boxing.

Her triumph has brought immense pride and joy to the Zeme community and the broader Zeliangrong community, and we are honoured to celebrate her exceptional accomplishment".

"Maria's achievement serves as an inspiring example to our youth, demonstrating that excellence can be achieved through hard work and determination," it added.

The council also extended its best wishes to Maria for her continued success in her future endeavours.
