KNK outplay WPC 5-2 in Moirang 1st Div League

Imphal, October 31 2024: KNK (Keibul) fought back from a goal down to clinch a 5-2 win over WPC (Wangoo) in Thursday's action of the Ph Irabot Singh Memorial 1st Division District Football League 2023-24, organised by DFA Moirang, at Wangoo Ahallup playground.

Y Dayananda opened the scoring for WPC in the 3rd minute.

However, N Abungton drew level for KNK seven minutes later, after which KNK took control of the match.

K Rohit Singh netted their second goal in the 28th minute and O Premchand made it 3-1 in the 37th minute.

After the interval, N Bikash found KNK's fourth goal in the 57th minute.

P Goutam replied with WPC's second goal in the 69th minute, but Premchand quickly responded, netting his second goal and team's fifth goal just a minute later, ensuring a convincing victory for KNK.
