Imphal, September 23 2024: Longjam Johnny Singh of Pravabati Fitness Centre (PFC), Wangkhei clinched the title of the 9th Mr Saphaba Senior (Manipur Level) Body Building Contest-2024 organised by District Amateur Body Builders' Association (DABBA), Bishnupur at Oinam Mamang Leikai Ireima community hall on Sunday.

Chongtham Momo Singh (MK Fitness Centre, Sagolband) secured the first runner-up title with Henba Thokchom (PFC, Wangkhei) adjudged the 2nd runner-up winner.

On the other hand, Ng Kiranjit (Rising Sun Club, Nambol) won the 9th Bishnupur District (Open) Body Building Contest as Nameirakpam Abash Singh of PFC, Wangkhei bagged the 9th Mr Saphaba (Manipur Level) Men's Physique (Open) title, Thiyam Anshia Devi (Smart Fitness Gym, Nambol) wrested the Women's Fitness (Manipur Level) title, Rohit Konsam (PFC, Wangkhei) won the junior title Potshangbam Binod Meitei (MK Fitness Gym, Sagolband) claimed the top honour in Manipur Level Sub-Junior competition.

The contest participated by 70 players was attended by Oinam MLA Irengbam Nalini Devi, MABBA & IFBF (India) vice president Dr RK Harshyam Singh and MPP president Sorensangbam Brojen Mangang as presidium members.
