Imphal, October 22 2024: Kapaam DC romped past Hnahringkhu YC 5-0, while Lambung YC outscored Chandel Khullen 3-2 in the Chandel Super Division Football League 2024 at Ziontlang Ground, Chandel on Tuesday.

Lian netted a hat-trick in Kapaam's 5-0 thrashing of Hnahringkhu.

Ringshangam opened the scoring in the 9th minute, setting the stage for the rout.

Lian then increased the lead with a penalty in the 24th minute.

Bedeenpar added a third goal in the 31st minute, before Lian took control, netting his second in the 68th minute and completing his hat-trick in the 71st minute, securing an impressive win for Kapaam.

Lambung YC fought back from an early deficit to edge past Chandel Khullen 3-2.Benwar put Chandel Khullen ahead just seven minutes from kickoff, but Phowlpe drew level for Lambung in the 32nd minute, followed by a goal in quick succession from teammate Dimushing (37).However, Bungdam put Chandel Khullen back into contention after scoring in the 46th minute.

Lambung restored their lead in the 61st minute through Thalpingam whose goal eventually proved to be the decider.

Meanwhile, Kenphasha scord four goals to steer Khongjon YC to a thrilling 5-4 win over Cheengkhu YC in the Chandel 1st Division Football League on Tuesday.

Cheengkhu initially took the lead with Beningam scoring in the 4th minute.

However, Khongjon responded swiftly with Kenphasha equalising in the 6th minute.

Cheengkhu regained their lead thanks to Beningam's second goal in the 9 th minute.

However, Kenphasha ran riot, scoring three goals in succession in the 13th, 19th and 31st minutes before Jupa Joel found their fifth goal in the 35th minute.

After trailing, Cheengkhu fought hard and managed to score two goals through Kankhungam (44) and Shelminthang (53) but they were unable to improve in the remaining minutes as Khongjon defended resolutely to run out 5-4 winners.

In the other match, Anal Khunou and Ziontlang played out a goalless draw.
