Imphal, December 19 2025: EYDC, Eroisemba won 4-0 as the 7th Sh Mani Shanna Memorial 3rd Division Football League kick-started at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi today.

In the opening match of the 7-team league tournament organised by the Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA), Ak Yaichenba (38', 70') scored twice and Sushil (35+2') and Fm Yasir (68') added a goal apiece to set up the 4-0 win for EYDC against KYDC, Kiyam Sangaithel Road.

The tournament was formally opened in the presence of L Nandakumar, vice president of IWDFA as chief guest; W Hemanta, president PAMYAL and P Surchand, vice president of IWDFA as guests of honours and H Meghachandra, vice president IWDFA as the functional president.

IBSA, Yumnam Leikai will play USC, Phayeng in the next match tomorrow from 12 am before UYPA, Kha Jiri play NISC, Lairenjam later from 2 pm.
