Panthoibi Trophy: LFC cruise as TDC, LFC draw

Imphal, January 19 2025: Langlen FC swept past Sugnu FC 4-1, while TDC and Lamjingba FC played out a 2-2 draw in the Ima Panthoibi Trophy 2025 at Thounaljam playground, Kakching, on Sunday.

The match was dominated early by Langlen FC, with Bali opening the scoring just 10 minutes into the game.

Thothoi doubled their advantage in the 21st minute, and L Kishan further extended the lead with a goal in the 31st minute.

Sugnu FC responded with a goal from Wanson in the 45th minute, but Prince restored Langlen FC's three-goal lead late in the match to secure the 4-1 result.

In the other fixture, TDC and Lamjingba FC played out a dramatic 2-2 draw.

TDC took an early lead through Mathoi, who scored in the 3rd minute, but Lamjingba FC quickly responded with an equaliser from Yaiphaba in the 6th minute.

Mathoi then put TDC back in front with his second goal in the 16th minute.

However, Lamjingba FC levelled the scoreline with Ashok's goal in the 42nd minute, ensuring a 2-2 draw to conclude the exciting encounter.
