TRAU, MODEL, CYCLONE, PTRC victorious in MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy

TRAU, MODEL, CYCLONE and PTRC emerged the victors in Thursday's fixtures of the 3rd MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy held across four venues.
TRAU clinched a comfortable 5-wicket win over RULE in their meeting at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.
TRAU chased down a modest target of 138 with ease, finishing at 138/5 in just 24.4 overs.
Preethson Arubam (33* off 39) and Gurumayum Shivestian Sharma (29 off 40) anchored the chase after RULE were bowled out for 137.Mutum Swabhiman starred with the ball for TRAU, claiming 4 wickets for just 5 runs in 8 overs, while Huiningshumbam Luching (4/30) also impressed.
For RULE, Indrakumar Singh Sanjenbam top-scored with 55 but lacked support as the batting collapsed.
MODEL edged past YPHUC by 15 runs in a low-scoring match at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
MODEL defended their total of 160 successfully, bowling out YPHUC for 145 in 32.3 overs.
Bisal Ningombam's explosive 84 off 73 balls was the highlight of MODEL's innings, while Biyon Naorem (3/18) and Konsam Mangal Singh (3/27) dismantled YPHUC's batting.
YPHUC's Bishworaj Sharma (36) fought hard, but MODEL's disciplined bowling sealed the win.
CYCLONE dominated MPA by 7 wickets at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground, Imphal.
CYCLONE made light work of MPA's paltry 91, reaching 96/3 in just 15.2 overs.
Thomsan Moirangthem led the charge with a brisk 52 off 54 balls, supported by Reolin Oinam's fiery 6* off 1 delivery.
Earlier, Reolin Oinam (4/17) and Thomsan Moirangthem (2/7) ripped through MPA's batting lineup, restricting them to 91 all out.
PTRC outplayed YWC by 66 runs at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.
PTRC posted a competitive 174/6, thanks to Salam Richie's brilliant 77 off 70 balls.
YWC's reply faltered at 108 all out, with Laitonjam Jackson Singh (3/24) and Sorokhaibam Dalilsh Singh (2/20) doing the damage.
Yumnam Achouba (32) offered brief resistance, but PTRC's all-round performance ensured a comprehensive victory.
