MBA announces provisional junior boys' basketbail squad for National C'ship

Imphal, August 12 2025: The Manipur Basketball Association has announced the provisional selection of players for the state junior boys' team in preparation for the 75th Junior National Basketball Championship, to be held in Ludhiana, Punjab, from September 2 to 9, 2025 .

The 25-member squad features players from clubs including CYLC, Model Club, Youth Club, YOSC, BDBA, LMYVA, ESU and YWC .

Those provisionally named are Achom Prince Singh, Leishemba Leishangthem, Leishemba Laiphakpam, Sarungbam Athouba, Wungshungmi Siro, Billgate Laishram, Heisman Rahul Singh, Latonjarm Teheiba Singh, Ningombam Ronald, Grosun Thongbam, Sendick Moirangthem, Taibangamba Yurembam, Herison Ningthoujam, Leimapokpam Biyash, Gorav Saikhom and Malemsom Longjam (all CYLC); Thingom Sotindrachand (Model Club); Samson Athokpam (YOSC); Yurembam Benjamin (Youth Club); Moirangthem Suryajeet and Phairambam Inunganba (BDBA); Sachindevakumar Yumnam (TDBA); Dhanraj Irengbam (LMYVA); Langonba Rajkumar (ESU); and Kangjam Chourajit (YWC) .

The players are required to report for training under head coach T Nilamani Singh, assisted by coaches N Jackson Singh, Borish Achom and Ch Ketan Singh, at the Brahmapur Nahabam Basketball Court from August 14, 2025.Training sessions will be held twice daily at 6:30 am and 3:30 pm .
