Imphal, February 09 2025: Sainik School Imphal Old Boys' FC (Sainik FC) and NESU notched wins in Sunday's fixtures of the 17th Manipur State League 2024-25 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Sainik FC outplayed United Brothers FC with a convincing 3-1 win.

Soibam Nobel opened the scoring in the 30th minute, giving Sainik the lead.

However, United Brothers FC restored parity in the 52nd minute when Sr Kagaly Anal successfully converted a penalty.

Sainik FC regained control in the 76th minute with a goal from Naorem Roshan, and Jetlee Bura Gohain sealed the win with an 80th-minute strike.

NESU, on the other hand, eased to a 2-0 victory over Rahee UC in the day's other match.
