Thoubal Sub-Junior Open Volleyball Tournament begins

Thoubal, April 30 2025: The 6th Thoubal District Sub-Junior Open Volleyball Tournament 2025, hosted by Siphal Leikai Guidance Club (SLGC), Yairipok, commenced on Wednesday at the SLGC Yairipok playground.

In the opening match, AWA (B) Andro registered a 28-26, 25-21, 25-17 win over YDC Khoirom.

The opening ceremony was attended by District Volleyball Association Thoubal vice-president Toijam Goroba, ACME Hr Sec School principal Yumnam Biren, ACME Hr Sec School executive committee members Haobam Bimolchand, Keisham Sunil, Sapam Nanao, Subashchandra Laishram and Khundongbam Chandramani, and the local community members.

A total of 12 teams, divided into four groups, are competing in the tournament.
