Inter-School Sports Meet 2024 commences on Aug 3

Senapati, July 30 2024: The Senapati District Inter-School Sports Meet 2024, organised by Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) under the theme "Chase your dreams", will be held from August 3 to August 7 .

The event is supported by the district administration, Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur, and Senapati District Olympic Association, Manipur (SDOAM).

The opening ceremony will be held at Senapati Outdoor Stadium on August 3, with subsequent sports events taking place at various venues.

The final match will take place on August 7, following a valedictory programme.

The sports meet will feature various games, including football (for boys only), volleyball (for both boys and girls), and individual events like high jump, long jump and shot put.

Prior to the Senapati District Inter-School Sports Meet 2024, a marathon/cross country themed 'Run for Peace in Manipur" will take place at 7 am at Sanyi Dahrii Sports Complex, Khabung Karong and culminate at Senapati Traffic Point.

The marathon features two categories: an open category and a high school students category.

The organising committee has outlined instructions for competitors: the open category will be a first-come, first-served basis, while a specific number of slots for high school students has been allocated as per the committee's guidelines.
