RCA, AKSDO, YWC steamroll opponents in MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy

RCA, AKSDO and YWC inflicted ruthless defeats on their opponents, while MPA struggled past KSDO in Wednesday's clashes of the 3rd MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 .
In a staggering display of dominance, RCA annihilated CYSA by a mammoth 562 runs in their encounter at Moijing Public Ground.
RCA posted an astronomical total of 587/4 in their 40 overs before skittling CYSA for a meagre 25 in just 13.1 overs.
Opting to bat first, RCA's innings was headlined by a breathtaking knock from captain Naesh Hussain, who bludgeoned an unbeaten 305 off just 106 balls.
His innings, laced with 29 fours and 24 sixes, left the opposition shell-shocked as he finished with a staggering strike rate of 287.74 .
He was ably supported by Zamir Khan, who smashed 125 off 58 balls (11 fours, 10 sixes), and Md Alfash, who contributed a brisk 58 .
The CYSA bowlers had no answers, with Wangmayum Khursijatar (1/122) and Phundreimayum Soheb (1/107) among those taken to the cleaners.
Chasing an improbable 588, CYSA's innings unravelled spectacularly.
Naesh Hussain turned destroyer with the ball, claiming 5/14 in 6.1 overs, while Zamir Khan (3/0 in 2 overs) and Zuned (2/11) compounded the misery.
CYSA were bundled out for 25, with none of their batters managing more than 5 runs.
The innings, marred by four ducks, lasted just 79 deliveries.
AKSDO handed out a 367-run thrashing to LCC at at Khangabok Part-III Cherapur.
AKSDO amassed a staggering 404/7 in 35 overs.
Chin-gamba Elangbam (110 off 67) and Saikhom Lanchenba Meitei (94 off 51) were the stars with the bat, while Sanayai Ningthoujam (57 off 23) provided a blistering finish.
LCCs response was dismal, collapsing to 37 all out in 9.5 overs.
Saikhom Lanchenba Meitei (4/14) and Sanayai Ningthoujam (3/5) ripped through the batting line-up, sealing a 367-run win for their side.
YWC crushed KCC by 251 runs at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Batting first, YWC posted a formidable total of 300/7 in 40 overs, thanks to standout half-centuries from Sorokhaibam Thoungamba Singh (62 off 64) and Yumnam Sushil (50 off 33).KCC s chase never gained momentum as they were bundled out for a paltry 49 in just 20.1 overs.
The bowling attack, led by Sorokhaibam Dallish Singh (4/10) and Yumnam Athouba (3/13), ensured a comprehensive 251-run victory for YWC .
MPA, meanwhile, edged past KSDO by 1 run in a tense finish at Khudelband Lampak.
MPA defended a modest 124 against KSDO.
Lucky Elangbam (62 off 77) top-scored for MPA, while KSDO's Md Washim (52 off 69) fought valiantly in reply.
The match hung in the balance until the final over, with KSDO falling agonisingly short at 123 all out.
Chongtham Sitaranjan Singh (3/10) and Md Adanan Raj (3/12) were pivotal in securing MPA's 1-run victory.
