YWC crush Al-Ameen by 9 wickets, CDCC prevail in Superplate Tournament

YWC thrashed Al-Ameen by 9 wickets while CDCC secured a 2-wicket win over PCC in Saturday's league matches of the 4th MNCA Superplate Tournament 2024-25 .
YWC delivered a clinical bowling performance to dismiss Al-Ameen for just 88 runs in 28.4 overs.
Maibam Subash led the attack with three wickets, while Yunam Athouba, Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba, and Pukhrambam Prashantamani each claimed two wickets, setting the stage for YWC's commanding win.
In Al-Ameen's innings, Khulakpam Shahadat Ali (22), FM Sakil Ahamed (17 not out), Shamir Khan (16), and Sagir Ahamed (11) were the only batters to reach double figures.
YWC chased down the target in 19.3 overs, with Seram Robinson anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 57 .
Jiko Sorokhaibam contributed 20, and Nepram Herojit remained not out on 10, as YWC lost only one wicket, to Najarul Islam of Al-Ameen.
CDCC, meanwhile, defeated PCC by 2 wickets.
Opting to bowl first, PCC posted a total of 197/4 in their allotted overs.
Longjam Ronald (54), Takhelmayum Vikash (52 not out), Charoibam Tyson (36), and Longjam Gibbon (36) .
made valuable contributions with the bat.
Mandingbam Surjit, Mutum Jodiba, FM Sharif, and Konjengbam Monish each claimed a wicket for CDCC.
In response, CDCC completed the chase in 26 overs, with Ataur Rahaman top-scoring with 50.Gold S3 8 not out), Mutum Jodiba 33), Konjengbam Monish 24), Viking Salam (24), and Kshetrimayum Robert (12) all played crucial roles in the successful chase.
For PCC, Naorem Johnson took two wickets, while L Chingkheihunba, Laitonjam Anjan, Rohit Soubam, and Longjam Ronald each took one wicket.
