Mukhai FC lift 2nd Dabang Trophy

Imphal, January 19 2025: Mukhai FC won the 2nd Dabang Trophy 2024-25 after beating NESU 3-1 in the final on Sunday.

Premjit opened the scoring for Mukhai FC in the 18th minute and Rohit extended their lead in the 21st minute.

Md Sajadalam narrowed the deficit for NESU in the 43rd minute, but Rohit was on target again for Mukhai FC when he buried the ball in the net in the 54th minute and eventually secured the victory for his side.

As a result of their title triumph, Mukhai FC took home the prize money of Rs 70,000 .

The tournament's individual accolades saw Thoiba of Mukhai FC being named the best player of the competition, while Premjit received the top scorer award.

Md Tajuddin of NESU was honoured with the youngest player trophy.

Additionally, the best disciplined team award went to Sharuk FC .
