47 shortlisted for ball badminton coaching

Imphal, August 18 2025: Ball Badminton Association Manipur (BBAM) has recommended 47 senior players (men & women) for attending the trial-cum-coaching to prepare the state team for the 71st Senior National Ball Badminton Championship 2025 to be held at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu from September 25 to 28 .

According to a BBAM release, the shortlisted male players include Sh Sushilkamar, Trishul Thiyam, Leishanbam Premchand, Arbin Meitei, Dhanaraj Sapam, Laikhuram Teneson, Priyoranjan Sorenshangbam, Benjohn Yumnam, Malemn-ganba Oinam, Jackson Keisham, Dhanabir RK, RK Mirananda, Eekoklen W, Mutum Chingkhei, Kh Thoithoi, Lucky Longjam, Santaingamba Meisnam, Henary Ayekpam, Santosh, Bubusana, Prabinson and T Rakhal.

The female players are Waikhom Priyalakshmi, Maxxi Chongtham, Moirangthem Delina, Swatisri Thingbaijam, Christina Potsangbam, Lembisana Kshetrimayum, Rosni Oinam, Busoria Kangjam, Soibam Rabiya, TP Injiangailiu, Elangbam Tama, Ashune Enah, L Dolly, L Kri-pamei, Maibam Jarina, Sarungbam Gloria, Kh Devika, Th Serena, Laishram Belinda, Sweetyshree Th, Ocia Laishram, Diana Moirangthem, Jasinta Haobam, Sunan Sorokhaibam and Gremy Oinam.

The senior players (men & women) should report daily at 6 am at NIELIT Akampat, Imphal from August 21 to 25, it directed.

BBAM also informed that the trial cum selection for participation in the 44th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship 2025 for Boys and Girls to be held at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu from September 25 to 28 will be conducted at NIELIT, Akampat from August 21 to 25.Players born on or after January 2,2010 will be eligible to attend the trial-cum-selection test for the said championship.

All the affiliated institutions/clubs/units are informed to send their players for the trial-cum-selection at NIELIT, Akampat, it added.
