Jr state men's hockey squad named for National Cship

Imphal, July 18 2025: Manipur Hockey has announced its final squad for the 15th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2025, which will take place in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from July 28 to August 8.Following the recommendations of the state selection committee, 18 players have been picked to represent Manipur in the tournament, along with six reserves.

The selected players are drawn from various local clubs and will compete under the leadership of coach M Rinash and manager H Ahenta.

The goalkeepers for the squad are K Mahendrajit Meitei (HU) and B Aristotle (SEYO) .

Defenders include Lan-thoiba Okram (MEIRAA), W Darish (HU), N Suraj (KHSC), and N Mahesh (MEIRAA) .

The midfield unit comprises L Max (KHSC), Ksh Amarjit (KHSC), N Ronin (MEIRAA), S Nishi (HU), K Suraj (HU), and T Bhagir (TH) .

Attackers named in the final team are K Sanjit (MLHA), M Manimatum (HU), W Vishal (HU), N Girik (KHSC), Th Yaiphaba (MEIRAA), and Th Avinash (MEIRAA) .

The reserve list includes Ch Ranbir (TWC, GK), W Beeterkumar (HU, defender), W Vishal (HU, defender), N Rohit (BH, defender), L Lanchenba (YCCIC, attacker), and N Rohit (MEIRAA, attacker) .
