Plate Cricket: THAU humble OSCAR in a low scoring match

Imphal, April 17 2015 : THAU Thangmeiband beat OSCAR Paona Bazar by 5 wickets in a low scoring match of the 2nd Plate Tournament of Manipur Cricket Association (MCA) at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium on Friday.

OSCAR posted a partly of 87 by losing all wickets in the allotted 30 overs after winning the toss.

Pritam of THAU was the chief destroyer of OSCAR with 5 wickets.

Sunil; Sanjeet; Langoyamba and Chitranjan supported Pritam with 1 wicket each.

OSCAR achieved the target in 21.1 overs by losing 5 wickets.

Amarjit contributed a patient 25 runs from 48 balls while Shahir blasted 20 from 29 balls.

Sanjeet also added 14 from 27 balls in OSCAR's success.

OCARS's five wicket was claimed by Wilson (3 wickets); Semson and Millan accounted for 1 wicket each.

Earlier, Gyaneshwor (22); Bozanath (16) and Millan (19) were the chief contributors to OSCARS's total.

Pritam was adjudged the Man of the Match for the 5 wickets performance.
