Imphal, December 15 2025: Teachers and students of Khurai Popular High School, Khurai today accorded a warm felicitation to four of the students who participated and brought home medals from Wushu Nationals and National School Games held in the last two years.

The programme was presided by the Headmaster Aribam Pritamjit Sharma and the teachers, said a press release issued in this regard.

The students who were encouraged and feted during the programme include Telem Rajeshore (68th National School Games Hockey- quarterfinalist), Heikrujam Leishemba (24th Sub-Junior Wushu Nationals 2024), Khongbantabam Debeshori (68th National School Games Thang-Ta : -48 kg silver), and Sarangthem Lemba (69th National School Games Football- bronze), it said.

Sports items such as hockey stick, cheibi, and football were also handed to the respective players by teachers of the School who also advised them to strive for more discipline and bring laurels to the Nation, the State and the school, it added.
