Women's team finishes second at Sepaktakraw nationals

Imphal, January 15 2025: Manipur women's team finished second, while the men's team faltered in the semifinal in the quad competition of the 34th Senior National Sepaktakraw Championship for Men & Women in Telangana on Wednesday.

In the women's final, Manipur lost 7-15 9-15 to AIP to settle for a silver medal.

Earlier in the semifinal, the women squad secured a 15-12 17-15 win over SSB .

Meanwhile, the men's finished third in the competition after a 13-15 9-15 defeat to AIP.

They downed Himachal Pradesh 15-415-9 in their quarterfinal on their way to the last four.
