State U-17 fencers depart for J&K

Imphal, November 13 2024:
Manipur's U-17 fencing team departed for Jammu & Kashmir to take part in the 68th National School Games 2024-25 in fencing, which will take place from November 17 to 21, 2024 .
The team comprises a total of 24 fencers - 12 boys and 12 girls - who will compete across the foil, epee, and sabre events.
The boys' foil team includes Kh Rajiv, N Ritankumar, K Prithibiraj, and P Yoihenba, while the girls' foil lineup features T Mangaleibi, Maibam Geetarani Devi, H Tonibia, and L Thoi Thoi Chanu.
Competing in the epee category, the boys' team comprises K Deonel, Tontang Hijam, Sh Zenith, and H Nelson, while N Chanu Jotirika, N Dibiya, N Jazzy, and K Jenita make up the girls' team in the same event.
The boys' sabre squad consists of Saion Ningombam, Saolin Ningombam, Koubru Nepram, and H Denial, while P Baby, Daina, P Ambika Devi, Payal Ningombam, and Priya Ningombam will compete for the state in the girls' sabre event.
They are accompanied by coaches Atom Shaolin Meitei (boys) and W Thoibi Devi (girls), along wit manager H Bichu
Singh.
