IPS victorious; MYUC, JFCdraw in Khagemba Football Trophy

Imphal, February 13 2025: IPS Kymgei emerged victorious as MYUC and John FC settled for a 2-2 draw in the 13th Khagemba Football Trophy 2025, held at Kyamgei Heibong Makhong Lampak on Thursday.

IPS secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over RSFC Lamsang, with Bangkim opening the scoring in the 19th minute before Ratanbi doubled the lead in the 37th minute to seal the win.

Meanwhile, MYUC and John FC played out a closely contested match, with MYUC relinquishing a 2-0 advantage to finish level at full time.

Somendro gave MYUC an early lead in the 4th minute, followed by Dingku's strike in the 15'th minute to extend their advantage.

However, John FC staged a determined comeback, with Mustafa reducing the deficit in the 26th minute before Lanchenba equalised shortly thereafter, ensuring the match concluded in a 2-2 deadlock.
