THAU dominate PTCC in MNCA Sr Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, March 09 2025: THAU delivered a commanding performance to defeat PTCC by 156 runs in the 4th MNCA Senior Women's One Day Trophy league match at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak, on Sunday.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, THAU posted a competitive 188/9 in 35 overs, anchored by skipper Kalpana Devi Keisham's brisk 60 off 57 balls (9 fours) .

Contributions from Milan Chanu Yambem (30* off 25) and Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam (30 off 33) bolstered the total.

PTCC's Khundraipam Anjali Devi starred with the ball, claiming 4/28, while Bandana took 3/23 .

In reply, PTCC collapsed spectacularly, bundled out for a mere 32 in 18 overs.

Milan Chanu Yambem wreaked havoc with a sensational 5/8 in her 7-over spell, supported by Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam (1/12) and Konjengbam Nonibala Devi (1/3) .

PTCC's innings featured three run-outs and extras (16) as their highest contributor.
