Al-Ameen, PTRC, MPA, KCC victorious in MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament

Imphal, February 05 2025:
Al-Ameen, PTRC, MPA and KCC notched up wins in the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25 on Wednesday.
Al-Ameen recorded a comprehensive 275-run over CHAMP in their meeting at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang).
Batting first, Al-Ameen posted a formidable total of 322/8, with significant contributions from Sheikh Ani-sur Rahaman (64'), Mudashir (46), Bogimayum Azmat (27'), Shohel Akter (20), Maibam Ashique (19), Jor Khan (18), and Pukhrimayum Ruhan (15) .
For CHAMP, Abdul Wakip was the standout bowler, claiming 4 wickets.
In response, CHAMP's batting collapse saw them dismissed for just 47 in 11.4 overs.
Shohel Akter and Sheikh Anisur Rahaman spearheaded the Al-Ameen attack, taking 5 and 4 wickets, respectively, with Bogimayum Azmat adding 1 to their dominant victory.
In another match at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTRC triumphed over BKCC by 104 runs.
Batting first, PTRC posted 241/3, led by Priyojit Thongam's 95, with Bedabiyas Pheiroijam contributing 64, Mangal Sagolsem (31') and Ghoutam Chingangbam (15') providing further support.
BKCC s reply was swiftly dismantled as they were bowled out for 137 in 26.2 overs, with Thiyam Prabinson Meitei's resolute 56 being the lone highlight.
Priyokumar Singh was the pick of PTRC's bowlers, claiming 5 wickets, while Bedabiyas Pheiroijam added 2, and Bhuson and Kenan Khumanthem each took 1 wicket.
At PTRC Ground, MPA comfortably defeated SSC by 5 wickets.
SSC were bowled out for a meagre 66 in 11.1 overs, with Ch Yohenba playing a key role by claiming 5 wickets, and Chongtham Sitaranjan and Elangbam Sanatomba contributing 2 wickets each.
MPA reached the target in 14.1 overs, with 5 wickets in hand.
Chongtham Priyokumar led the chase with an unbeaten 31.Meanwhile, KCC secured a 44-run victory over WYC at Lairenjam Public Ground.
KCC, after being put in to bat, were dismissed for 167 in 26.1 overs, with Niyas Khan scoring 64 and Abdul Asif adding 18.WYC could only manage 123 all out in 20 overs in response, with Thoungamba Kshetrimayum claiming 5 wickets for KCC.
Niyas Khan and Rahish Khan also contributed with 2 wickets each.
Despite a valiant unbeaten 75 from Maibam Dhanakumar, WYC fell short.
