MU announces cash incentives for medal-winning athletes

Imphal, July 02 2025: Manipur University has announced cash incentives for students who secured gold, silver, or bronze medals at the All India Inter-University Sports Competitions for the academic year 2024-25 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025) .

According to the university's circular, the incentives are applicable only to winners of national-level tournaments conducted under the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi; zonal competitions are excluded.

Eligible students are instructed to report to the office of the assistant director of Sports no later than July 8, 2025 during office hours, submitting the following bank details: account number, name and address of the bank, IFSC code, and a photocopy of the front page of the bank passbook.

Additionally, athletes selected for the V-Khelo India University Games 2024-25, scheduled to be co-hosted by Poornima University and Rajasthan University in Jaipur this November, must report by the same date for completion of registration under the National Sports Repository System (NSRP) .
