Eight state cricketers selected for Inter CoE U-19 Tournament

Imphal, April 30 2025: Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) has announced that eight young cricketers from the state have been selected to participate in the Inter Centre of Excellence (CoE) U-19 Boys Tournament 2025.The tournament will be held from May 6 to 16, 2025 at BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The selected players are Ningthoujam Tholba Singh, Khundrakpam Punsiba Mangang, Md Ageel Ahamed Phundreimayum, Seram Robinson, Heishnam Joyhenba Meitei, Rain Urikhimbam, Saikhom Kaiku Meetei and Danish Khan.

In a press release, the MNCA described this as a "proud moment for the association and a significant milestone for Manipur's budding cricketers.

The tournament offers the players a platform to showcase their skills at the national level and a potential pathway to representing India in the future, it added.

MNCA extended its heartfelt congratulations to the selected players and expressed confidence that they would make the most of this opportunity to bring honour to the state.
