P Ambika wins gold as Imphal East sweep junior girls' Sabre competition medals

P Ambika clinched the junior girls' sabre gold in the 21st Governor's Cup State Level Fencing Championships as Imphal East swept all the medals of the event today.

P Ambika defeated compatriot P Babydaina in the final today to seal the gold medal as N Priya and N Payal settled for the bronze medals.

Mini Boys and Girls' competitions

Th Dorando of Imphal East also clinched a gold medal for Imphal East in the mini boys' Foil competition by defeating N Neilmars of Bishnupur in the final today.

O Ricky of Imphal West and H Justice of Imphal West settled for the bronze medals.

B Balmiki of Imphal East meanwhile sealed the mini boys' Epee competition defeating G Baniba of Bishnupur in the final as L Bibik of Senapati and Y Thoihenba of Imphal East shared the bronze medal podium.

G Sinlemba of Bishnupur meanwhile claimed the mini boys' Sabre gold defeating H Sinthoiba of Imphal West in the final as Y Yaiphaba and Kh Arjun of Bishnupur settled for the bronze medal.

A Josina in the meantime clinched the mini girls' Foil gold medal beating N Norah Leima in an all Imphal East final clash as N Athena of Imphal East and P Yureka of Ukhrul sealed the bronze medals.

S Chillsila of Imphal East meanwhile won the Epee gold medal by beating compatriot H Loyanganbi in the final while O Sanathoi of Chandel and N Priscilla of Senapati settled for the bronze medals.

S Selena of Imphal East on the other hand claimed the Sabre gold medal by defeating S Dhresha of Imphal West in the final.

O Thaja and K Joyshree of Imphal East shared the bronze medal podium in this event.
