Training programme concludes with "92nd Thang-Ta Revival Day" observation

Imphal, May 30 2025: The National Thang-Ta Technical Official and Coaches' Training 2025 conducted from May 27 at Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom came to a close today.

The last day of the training programme also coincided with the 92nd Thang-Ta Revival Day observation.

The closing function and the observation programme was attended by Abdul Kadir, social worker and advisor, Karimganj District Thang-Ta Association; Dr Huidrom Premkumar, president World Thang-Ta Federation; Moirangthem Rajen, State Kala Akademi Awardee and Principal, PAHULASI, Mayaikoibi; Thounaojam Priyokumar, former secretary, Thang-Ta Federation of India and Heikrujam Cha Babu, secretary.

The visiting coaches and technical officials from other States also joined in offering homage and floral tributes to brave souls of the soil.

Huidrom Premkumar also spoke on the significance of observing the day at the occasion.
