AMIMYDO, SCYC crowned men and women's champions in State Senior Volleyball tournament

Imphal, August 26 2026: AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal and SCYC, Senjam Chirang have been crowned the men and women's champions as the 50th State Senior Volleyball Tournament conducted by the All Manipur Volleyball Association came to a close today at Muirei village, Ukhrul district.

In the women's final showdown, SCYC pulled off a hardfought 3-2 sets win over TRYVC, Ukhrul to emerge on top.

SCYC started positively but faltered in the second and third sets before bouncing back in the following sets to seal the game 25-21, 17-25, 10-25, 25-23, 15-13 .

The men's title meanwhile went to AMIMYDO who prevailed 25-22, 25-17, 25-15 against YMDO, Heirangoithong in the title clash.

The valedictory function cum prize distribution ceremony was attended by Ram Muivah, MLA Ukhrul AC; N Praveen, Secretary YAS; M Veto, Director YAS; L Baleshwar, president All Manipur Volleyball Association; Ashang Kasar as dignitaries.
