3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy : Naesh Hussain smacks triple century, picks five as RCA script record 562-run victory

Naesh Hussain scored an unbeaten triple ton and enjoyed a fifer to fashion RCA, Lilong a record 562 run victory against CYSA, Khangabok in a lopsided Group D match of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
Coming off from two back to back wins, RCA erected a mammoth total of 587 runs for 4 wickets in 40 overs thanks to unbeaten 424-run partnership between two centurians Naesh Hussain (305 off 106) and Zamir Khan (125 off 58) who toyed with the CYSA bowlers with ease.

Naesh Hussain (5/14 in 6.1 overs), Zamir Khan (3/0 in 2 overs) and Zuned (2/11 in 5 overs) the rattled the CYSA line up with ease within 13.1 overs for just a meagre total of 25 runs on the scoreboard.
Naesh found the fence 53 times including 24 sixes on the way to his unbeaten 305 and helped him finish with a remarkable strike rate of 287.74.Zamir Khan meanwhile knocked 11 fours and 10 sixes on the way to his 58-ball 125 .
None of the CYSA batters managed a double digit score in the chase as Naesh, Zamir and Zuned combined well to share 10 wickets among them.
Naesh Hussain deservedly claimed the player of the match accolade .
The day also saw AKSDO, Khangabok and YWC, Langthabal stretch their winning runs as MPA, Thounaojam ended their two game losing run in the Group A competition by registering 1-run victory against KSDO, Kyamgei in a thrilling encounter.
AKSDO overwhelm LCC by 367 runs for second Group C win
AKSDO erected a remarkable total of 404 for 7 wickets after being put in to bat first with blistering knocks from Elangbam Chingamba (67-ball 110; 14 fours and 2 sixes), Saikhom Lanchenba (51-ball 94; 13 fours and 3 sixes) and Ningthoujam Sanayai (23-ball 57; 7 fours and 3 sixes) .
Saikhom Lanchenba (4/14 in 5 overs), Ningthoujam Sanayai (3/5 in 2.5 overs) and Saikhom Dinesh (2/12) then joined forces to dismantle LCC, Lamsang for 37 runs in 9.5 overs as 8 batters went out on ducks and Raju Mutum emerged only double digit run scorer with 12 runs to his name.
For LCC, Laishram Lolex (2/71), Hera Thongam (2/89), M Raju (1/67) and Th Nokun (1/31) were among the wickets.
Saikhom Lanchenba who starred with both the bat and ball was adjudged player of the match.
Yumnam Athouba stars in YWC's 251 run victory
At Lairenjam Public Ground, YWC amassed 300 runs for 7 wickets after put in to bat first and bowled out KCC, Kongba Bazar for 49 runs in 20.1 overs for the huge victory, their second in three Group E matches.
Sorokhaibam Thoungamba 62 off 64, Yumnam Sushil 50 off 33 and Yumnam Athouba 38 off 27 inspired YWC the massive total before Sorokhaibam Dailish (4/10 in 5 overs) and Yumnam Athouba (3/13) and Pukhrambam Roshan (2/15) ran riot accross KCC line up.
For KCC, Niyas Khan enjoyed a three wicket haul before they wrapped up the chase at 49 with Sana Dolaicha 10 off 28 and Md Anish Khan 13 off 36 making the highest scores.
Athouba who produced an allround performance was adjudged player of the match.
MPA beat KSDO by 1 run
Opting to bat first at Khudeiband Lampak, MPA were bundled out for 124 runs in 30.3 overs but successfully defended their total by bowling out KSDO for 123 runs in the same 30.3 overs.
Elangbam Lucky played a pivotal role and added highest 62 off 77 runs to help MPA post 124 in the innings that saw Md Adanan Raj (3/12), Md Zuneid Shah (2/6), Md Soheb Khutheibam (2/21) and Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan (2/31) sharing 9 wickets for KSDO.
KSDO however faltered and slumped to 123 despite Md Washim's 52 as Chongthom Sitaranjan (3/10 in 4 overs), Chongtham Albish (3/38 in 8 overs) and Chongtham Priyokumar (2/26 in 8 overs) reign supreme.
Chongtham Albish who added 22 off 26 and picked three wickets to give MPA the narrow but significant win was adjudged player of the match.
